Odin Recipes

Whether you have plenty of time, or have no time at all, in this website I'll share with you three recipes that rescued me when I needed them most, and still continue to help me daily, or from time to time.

But just so you know what you're getting yourself into first, let me introduce myself, in the culinary scene of course, which is a big word for me. (That should tell you enough.)

My story

Through my kid and teenage days, I remember making my own in-between lunch "meals". This meals would involve things like sandwiches, cereals, fried eggs, and maybe if I was feeling a little "creative", I would make a lemonade. (Very advanced I know.) It would stay like that for most of my life, until maybe a year ago now. I started working and working out, and even though I still lived with my parents, and I would eat of the meals they made, not every day had a "planned" meal. By "planned" I mean that, yes, we'd have meals daily (thank u fam), but some of those meals were improvised. Some days weren't accounted for so we would have good meals the first days after they cooked a meal, but in between those days, there would be one improvised meal. You could say it's still a good deal, and I agree with you, person reading this. Good meals most days without cooking was pretty good, but having to think every night about the meals for the next day (I was the one that would serve the meals to take the next day), having some days where the food wasn't that healthy, and the main reason for me: missing my protein intake in those improvised days.

Crazy thing, I know.

That's what made me start thinking about cooking my own meals (which was also an idea that I had thought about just because of how necessary of a skill it is to cook.)

And just like that, after the thought of cooking my own meals popped in my head, it only took like a year for me to actually make the step, (very diligent I know,) and ahead are some of the meals that have been there with me since then.
